“The Little Mermaid” stars Halle Bailey as Ariel, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jonah Hour-King as Prince Eric and Javier Bardem as King Triton. Jacob Tremblay will voice Ariel’s sidekick Flounder, and David Diggs will voice Sebastian and Aquafina will voice Scuttle.

The 2023 live-action movie will be available in theaters from May 26 only. This means if you want to see it as soon as possible, you need to buy a movie ticket.

However, it will soon be available to stream on the Disney+ platform. Disney+ typically follows a 90-day period before theatrical release on the streaming platform. That means we could see a live-action version of “The Little Mermaid” arrive on Disney+ as early as August 2023.
