An Idaho jury found Lori Vallo Debell, the mother accused of murder in the deaths of her two children, 16-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallo, guilty of all charges.

Valo Debell, 49, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the deaths of the children and the death of her husband’s first wife, Tammy Debell. He was also accused of stealing Social Security payments issued to children.

Her husband, Chad Debell, has also been charged in the case, but will face a separate trial at a later date.

Both pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Prosecutors called dozens of witnesses to build their case against Valo Debel, whom they accused of being motivated by money, power and sex in a case involving the accused couple’s growing religious beliefs. Other deaths in their circle have also raised suspicion, including the shooting death of Alex Cox, the brother of Vallo DeBelle’s husband Charles Vallo, which Cox claimed was self-defense, and Cox’s subsequent unexpected death.

The defense called no witnesses, and Valo Debell did not testify.

Vallo DeBelle is also charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the death of her husband, Charles Vallo, in a separate case in Arizona.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
