Shino isn’t like other ninjas, and that’s not necessarily a good thing. He certainly stands out in a crowd. While he may not be one of the series’ main protagonists, he’s certainly unforgettable — unless you’re Naruto. Shino is obviously an Aquarius, and no one can tell us otherwise. Known for being independent, eccentric, and original, Aquarians are in a league all of their own.
From the very start, Shino was different than his peers. His fighting style, which involved controlling a breed of aggressive insects, isolated him and led others to think he was “creepy.” But nevertheless, Shino managed to become a strong, competent fighter. His uniqueness never held him back and never prevented him from having friends. Still, although he cared about his teammates, the air sign simply needed to have some alone time. His signature aloofness just makes us want to know more. Just like so many Aquarians, Shino marched to the beat of his own drum, and it’s hard not to love that for him — just from over there.
Born January 23, Shino is absolutely, unequivocally an Aquarius. You know it, and Masashi Kishimoto knows it.
