AEW Rampage Results (2/25/2022)
#1. [TNT Championship] Sammy Guevara (c) vs. Andrade El Idolo — Winner: Sammy Guevara
The AHFO tried to attack Guevara after the match, but Darby Allin & Sting made sure that wouldn’t happen.
After the break, QT Marshall tries taking credit for how good Hook is. He wants Hook to thank him for the guy he thought he trained him to be. Hook shows up and QT’s students have a go, but they are no match. A glorious backfire by QT.
Dan Lambert says he will figure out a way to get Scorpio Sky a title match, and then together, they will get hold of the TNT title.
#2. Wardlow vs. Nick Comoroto — Winner: Wardlow
Aaron Solo failed to crossbody Wardlow as he was caught. Shawn Spears hit Solo with a chair as Wardlow had hold of him, which infuriated the big man. Spears calmed him down and said that he doesn’t think this powerbomb thing is working. It’s not getting over, so he should get back to basics. He tells Wardlow that he & Maxwell love him, before giving him a hug, which Wardlow did not appreciate.
#3. [Professor’s Challenge] Serena Deeb vs. Kayla Sparks — Winner: Serena Deeb via submission
– Thunder Rosa & Britt Baker have a contract signing. Rosa says let’s give the fans what they want, a champion who isn’t a cheating ****** (curses in Spanish). Baker brings up the Lights Out match again, and the fact everyone was talking about her, despite losing that match. That’s where it all started, her being very bitter. Even if she were to win the title, she will never be Britt Baker. She was building this company while Thunder was wrestling on a YouTube show, just praying for an opportunity to work on TV.
Jealousy is just hatred built on insecurities. Thunder doesn’t hate her, she loves everything about her, and everything she has. It’s herself who she hates, because she will never be Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. The champion signs and is immediately taken down by Rosa. Jamie Hayter comes to her aid, but Mercedes Martinez is here to get a measure of revenge for the attack last week. Rosa throws Hayter through the table, before she poses with the AEW Women’s title.
#4. [Face of the Revolution Qualifier] Orange Cassidy (w/ Wheeler Yuta) vs. Anthony Bowens (w/ Max Caster) — Winner: Orange Cassidy
Danhausen gave a weird assist to Cassidy by placing a curse on Caster. It was very nice. Very evil. Have a good night AEWhausen fans.
