Antero Resources (AR) Lags Q4 Earnings Estimates

Antero Resources (AR) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.46 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.64 per share. This compares to loss of $0.03 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of -28.13%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this oil and natural gas producer would post earnings of $0.33 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.19, delivering a surprise of -42.42%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates just once.

Antero Resources, which belongs to the Zacks Oil and Gas – Exploration and Production – United States industry, posted revenues of $2.39 billion for the quarter ended December 2021, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 63.02%.
