The 61-year old gaffer who led Everton’s Merseyside rivals, Liverpool, to the UEFA Champions League title in 2005, took over the reins at Goodison Park in July 2021 on a three-year deal to succeed Carlo Ancelotti.

He leaves the Toffees hanging two places above the relegation zone in 16th position with 19 points after 19 rounds of play in the Premier League, only twice previously have they had fewer at this stage of a Premier League campaign (17 in 1997-98 and 2005-06).
