The Utah Jazz are likely going to change the roster in a major way. Is there any player on this roster that isn’t available this offseason? Rudy Gobert can be had for the right price. We’re sure Mike Conley is a piece they would move. Bojan Bogdanovic is on an expiring contract in 2022-23, and he will be an incredibly valuable asset if the Jazz are indeed trying to reshuffle the deck.
Still, the most important asset the Jazz have is Donovan Mitchell. He’s their star player, he can score with the best guards in the league, and he’s still 25 years old. He’s signed through the 2025-26 offseason, and any team who gets him will have a cost-controlled asset who could keep getting better.
What could teams offer the Utah Jazz for Donovan Mitchell?
Mitchell is probably looking at the best opportunities to excel himself. What is he looking for next? Is it to play in a big city? Is it to have a team built around him? Does the priority become just getting out of Utah?
His priorities and the priorities of Utah must align for a deal to happen. The Jazz are going to look for the best deal out there. 29 teams are probably going to at least ask what Mitchell costs to obtain. These five teams have a legit offer that could move the needle for the Jazz.
