CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENT: Local Democratic central and executive committee members will meet to endorse Democratic candidates running in the Ohio primary election in May. The endorsement meeting will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Yankee Lake Ballroom. COVID-19 social-distancing guidelines will be followed.
GROCERY GIVEAWAY: The Eastside Church of Christ in Warren will host a grocery giveaway 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
FOOD PANTRY: The Hubbard Food Pantry will be open 9:45 to 11:45 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Hubbard. The pantry is run by Hubbard Christians in Action.
NATURE ROCKS SHOW: Kindergarten to sixth grade art students are invited to participate in the Nature Rocks art show. Selected Nature Rocks videos will be used by artists as starting points for projects that showcase nature themes at Mill Creek Park. Artwork dropoff is 3 to 7 p.m. today with the exhibition 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. An awards ceremony will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the MetroParks Farm, McMahon Hall, 7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road, in Canfield.
PROM FASHION SHOW: A Prom Fashion Show will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Eastwood Mall Complex Center Court, Niles. Youngstown State University Fashion Department students will showcasing the latest fashions and accessories for prom.
