Amid Ukraine-Russia tensions, US F-15 fighter jets have arrived in Poland to bolster NATO’s military presence in Eastern Europe. On Thursday (February 10), warplanes landed at the airport in the Polish city of Lask, a neighboring country of Ukraine. Although confirmed, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszak did not say how many fighter jets landed.
Earlier, the United Kingdom deployed 350 troops there. Even British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited the country to show solidarity with Poland.
On social media, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszak wrote on Twitter that a US F-15 fighter jet had landed at Lassak airport. These will support NATO’s Eastern Air Patrol Mission. The United States has sent fighter jets to allied countries bordering Ukraine as well as Poland. Source: Reuters
