One of the new side quests in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth introduces collectibles like Chocograss that can be found later in the game, like the “Greens for Piko” quest. Chocograss is a collectible in the “Esoteric Secrets of the Elders” side quest. In Chapter 11, head to the Chocobo Sage’s Manor near Activation Intel Tower 3 to get started with this quest.
After finding Selena, the Chocobo Sage will task you with finding 30 tufts of Chocograss. These can be found all over the Nibel region on and around the large bodies of water. A few of these tufts are found inside caves on the islands, making them a bit trickier to find.

You only need 30 Chocograss to complete the quest for the Chocobo Sage in FF7 Rebirth, but there are 50 totalscattered around the Nibel region. The Chocograss are numbered in order; however, they can be collected in any order and will not necessarily line up with the order in the video. Here are the locations of all 50 Chocograss:

There, you have all 50 Chocograss locations. You can turn these into the Chocobo Sage to complete the quest and get extra rewards.
Rewards For Finding Every Chocograss In FF7 Rebirth
If you turn in all 50 tufts of Chocograss to the Tack Shop in Chocobo Sage’s Manor, you can get a few extra rewards. You get a Golden Plume for 35, an Otherworldy Crystal for 40, one of Cait Sith’s weapons, Gjallorhorn for 45, and a pair of Cleansing Materia Earrings for 50.
These upgrades are rarer, and finding Chocograss is relatively easy, so spending the time finding each one can come through in the long run. Once you’re done with this, try riding your Chocobo around the region to see what else you can find.
In the Nibel region, there are many other things to collect, like Queen’s Blood cards, materia, and other crafting materials that will power up your party. You can focus on the story quest or take some time to wander Nibel and explore everything this region offers. Whether or not you choose to collect all the Chocograss the Nibel Region has to offer, this sidequest is just one more way to enjoy playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
