Prior to entering politics, Amato, 34, was a Broadway producer who said he worked on “The Color Purple,” “Kinky Boots” and “Matilda.” His opponents will include lawyer Miguelina Camilo, who was endorsed by the Bronx Democratic Party and numerous electeds.
