WARREN — Detectives are investigating a report Sunday of a baby at Akron Children’s Hospital in Boardman being treated for broken bones.
The call came from the hospital about 2 p.m. and an officer was dispatched to the 600 block of West Market Street in Warren. A Warren police report listed the victim as a 7-month-old girl with broken bones, but no other details or condition report were available.
Another report Sunday showed officers responding to St. Joseph Warren Hospital to investigate the possible sexual assault of a 8-year-old Olive Street girl. The incident, which occurred after 10 p.m. at a Fairfield Street home, is under investigation.
