Fred J. Sisko 1926-2022



KEY LARGO, Fla. — Fred “Fritz” J. Sisko, 95, of Key Largo, Fla., passed away at his home Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022.

Born in Ambridge, Pa., on Nov. 24, 1926, Fred served in World War II in the Army and was stationed in Italy.

He moved to Warren, Ohio, where he met his wife, Sally and raised a family. He worked at American Welding and Mfg. He also owned the Cabaret Bar as well as several others in the Warren area.

In 1980, he retired and moved to Key Largo, Fla.

He loved fishing and playing cards.

He was married to his wife, Sally Ann for 65 years and they loved cruising.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Ann Sisko; and son, Mark J. Sisko of Islamorada, Fla.

Fred is survived by sons, Fred J. Sisko (wife, Chris) of Chesapeake, Va., and Michael R. Sisko of Key Largo, Fla., and daughter, Michelle R. Siler of Raleigh, N.C.; grandchildren, Michael Sisko of Jacksonville, Fla., Daniel Sisko (wife, Lori) of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Zack and Amy Siler of Raleigh, N.C., and Rusty, Christa and Anna of Chesapeake, Va.; and great-grandchildren, Charlotte and William, Lillian, Eva and Ava.

A celebration of life will be held by the family.
