YOUNGSTOWN — The Gardeners of Greater Youngstown will hold its winter seminar from 8:30 a.m. to noon March 5 at the Davis Visitor and Education Center at Mill Creek Park.
The seminar will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. At 9:15 a.m. Anne Rzepka Budziak, director of arboretum horticulture at Holden Forests and Gardens in Kirkland, will talk about making use of native plants and their culivars in the home landscape.
After a break, the seminar will reconvene at 10:45 a.m. for talk about annuals by Laura Deeter, Ph.D., a professor of landscape horticulture and horticulture science at The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
