WARREN — Kenneth Harland Wiland, 94, of Warren, entered peacefully into rest on Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, at Washington Square Healthcare Center, Warren, following a lengthy illness.
Kenneth was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Meyersdale, Pa. and was a resident of the area since 1950.
He was employed with ITT Grinnell Corp. for 34 ¢ years as a pipefitter, retiring from his duties in 1985.
Kenneth attended the Grace United Methodist Church and was an Army veteran, serving from 1946 to 1948.
On Feb. 7, 1952, Kenneth was united into marriage with the former Virginia Lee Sankey and enjoyed 66 years, until her passing Sept. 30, 2018.
His memories will be remembered by those he leaves behind, sons, Kenneth Lee (Margaret) Wiland of Dayton, and Roger Harland Wiland of Warren; daughter, Patricia Ann (Mark) Clawges of Warren; sister, Juanita LeWanna Hunter of Cortland; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; son, Glenn; and brother, Clarence E. Jr.
A private memorial service will be held at later date. Inurnment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Vienna.
