WARREN — Lera B. Anderson, 74, passed away at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022.
She was born July 2, 1947, in Luverne, Ala., to TJ Freeman and Edwina Peterson.
She was a member of Community Church of God in Christ, COGIC in Warren and was on the nursing guild. She enjoyed reading, watching Lifetime TV shows and she was a foster grandparent. She was retired from GM.
She leaves to cherish her memory her grandchild, Timmon D. Wade; great-grandchild, Zacari Sayor Wade; her niece, Bonita Freeman; and her siblings, Doris Freeman, Edwina Hicks, Charlena Caffie and Cynthia Wade.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Nicole Anderson; and her siblings, Thomas J. Freeman, Albert McMillion and Mavis Price.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at Community Church of God in Christ, COGIC in Warren, where friends may call one hour prior the time of the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
