There’s no question that Bachelor in Paradise is the most successful Bachelor Nation show at creating lasting relationships. The seventh season wrapped in October 2021, which added even more couples to the list who found love in Sayulita, Mexico, thanks to ABC. Hopefully, these gorgeous couples will come together.
Some duos — like Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour — are letting their love bloom, while others like Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper have already walked down the aisle and started a family.
While these couples had a storybook ending in Paradise, the pressure can be a lot when they return to their real lives. Jade and Tanner opened up about the ups and downs of their relationship in 2020 when they appeared on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars.
“I was definitely nervous because on the show we met on, it’s all roses and happiness,” Tanner admitted at the time during an interview with People. “This airs a different light on the relationship. But I think everyone that is married or in a serious relationship, they have the good and the bad. And, you know, it’s important to work on the bad to make it a better relationship going forward.”
Jade also acknowledged “there’s a lot of pressure” post-show. “People are like, ‘Oh we look to you for inspiration, you’re our role models, you’re what love should be,’” she explained. “We hope that people can still look and be like, ‘Oh gosh, they have problems just like we do, and that’s inspirational as well.’”
That’s why many couples take their time walking down the aisle after meeting or getting engaged on the reality dating show. Hannah G. told Life & Style in 2020 she and fiancé Dylan were “really enjoying being engaged” and “spending this quality time together.”
“We’re so excited for what the future holds for us!” the Alabama native gushed. “It’s crazy to imagine that just about a year ago, Dylan and I were getting to know each other on the beach in Mexico.”
Although they’re in no rush to get married, Hannah noted she’s still thinking about what their future nuptials will look like. “I’d say decor-wise, I’m a mix between timeless, earthy and a hint of Parisian!” she dished about their big day.
