No Time to Die 2021 World Premiere To on Tuesday

In case people needed more reasons to be convinced No Time to Die is finally coming out, Facebook will livestream the world premiere on Tuesday.

Thanks to Facebook, fans will be able to watch the world premiere of No Time to Die live online. The 25th movie in the James Bond franchise has been a long time coming, but it is finally just around the corner. No Time to Die was the first movie to delay its release in the face of the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020, and over the past year and a half, it has dealt with numerous other release date delays. Finally, No Time to Die will debut in the U.K. this week ahead of rolling out in U.S. theaters on October 8.

Aside from being the 25th movie in the franchise, No Time to Die is notable for another reason. This will be the final Bond movie to star Daniel Craig; he’s held onto the role since 2006’s Casino Royale and, following this new feature, will have starred in five franchise installments overall. No Time to Die will find Craig’s Bond living a quiet life in retirement with his love Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux). However, when a devastating secret from her past comes back to threaten all they hold dear, Bond must get back into the spy game.

No Time to Die will hold its world premiere on Tuesday, September 28, and according to Variety, fans from all over can watch it. Facebook will livestream the premiere, which is being held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, from 5:30pm to 7:05pm local time. Hosted by Clara Amfo, the event will be both on Facebook and Oculus Venues, an experiential space for Facebook’s VR headset. Fans can utilize tools like live comments and captioning, and there will be Q&As.

No Time to Die cast members expected to attend the premiere include Craig, Seydoux, Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Ben Wishaw, and Naomie Harris. Additionally, members of the royal family are said to be in attendance, including Prince William and Prince Charles. Fans of the James Bond franchise will surely enjoy getting to be a part of the excitement at the No Time to Die premiere, even if they cannot be there in person. Then again, for those who have VR headsets, maybe it really will feel like they are there.

The confirmation of the No Time to Die world premiere feels extra momentous if only because of how many times the movie has been delayed. The film has gotten very close to release, but for some time, fans were not sure whether they would ever get to see it. However, after other high-profile releases of delayed movies like Shang-Chi and F9, it’s finally time for Mr. Bond to get his time in the spotlight. No Time to Die tickets are on sale now, so between that and the premiere, this release promises to stick.
