HOWLAND — The Howland Park Board has received $70,000 from the township trustees to be used for additional piping at the main park ballfield to help alleviate flooding.
Board member Shawn Pompelia said the additional piping is needed to mitigate a water problem on the west side of the park, which is flooding the ballfields.
Miller Yount Paving Inc. of Bazetta was hired to do the project.
