WHAT: Township trustee special meeting Tuesday
PRESENT: Aaron Young, Todd Garland and Jeff Tucker
Trustees:
• Approved the purchase of a $168,377 ambulance for the fire department. Officials said they will use American Rescue Plan and fire and emergency medical service funds. Delivery is expected in 18 to 24 weeks. Officials said the new vehicle will replace a 14-year-old ambulance;
• Approved increasing pay for volunteer firefighters by $1 per call with the range based on training and experience from $7.75 to $8.75 per call and $12 to $13 per call.
