Actor Jamie Foxx’s daughter said Wednesday that her father is recovering from a “medical complication.”
The 55-year-old “experienced medical complications” on Tuesday, according to a statement posted on Instagram by her daughter Corinne Fox.
“Fortunately, due to quick action and great care, he is already on the road to recovery,” he wrote.
No details were provided about the nature of the medical incident or where Foxx was.
“We know how much he is loved and appreciate your prayers,” Corinne Fox said.
The famous actor is known for his roles in films including “Collateral,” “Django Unchained,” “Dreamgirls” and “Ray,” for which he won an Oscar.
